What is a natural burial?

Also known as a green burial, natural burial is a return to simpler traditions. The focus is on caring for both people and the planet, using natural materials and working in harmony with the environment.

Biodegradable coffins or shrouds made from materials like wood, wicker, or cloth

No embalming, so no harmful chemicals enter the soil

Plastic-free, even in coffin linings and floral tributes

Where is Bath natural burial ground?

You’ll find the burial ground a few miles from Midford, just off the B3110. We recommend visiting before making arrangements, to see the space and ensure it feels right for you and your family.
