Native Tree Planting 2023 at Pembrokeshire Natural Burials

We will be holding this year’s tree planting at Pembrokeshire Natural Burial Ground on Saturday the 25th of February 2023.

If you want to learn more about the burial ground, help us with some planting or seed scattering and see how the woodland is maturing and growing please come and join us.

What to expect

For those popping by to find out more, we will have brochures and information with us on the day. As last year was such a success we will once again have cake, coffee, tea & hot chocolate. This year we will also be opening our composting toilet.

We will be planting trees in the Spinney with families who have loved ones resting there. Those who have asked if they can donate their woodland trust tree or native saplings in need of a home are welcome to bring these and plant these with us in areas of woodland we are creating along the edge and bottom of the meadow. We will also have a few extra trees and some wildflower seed for those who want to get hands-on.

Jesse our little nature lover will be bringing a few exciting things for children to see like his blackbirds nest and objects to add to the bug hotel.

Dogs are welcome and if you are joining us don’t forget your wellies.

Where & When

You will find us at the meadow between 11 am & 3 pm.

The address for the meadow is Bridge Lane, Keeston, SA62 6EE

You can find directions on our website or follow the directions on google.
