To help answer the question 'what is natural burial?' we've made a short video about what we do. It looks at some of the technicalities of meadow and woodland burials, and the benefits, including those to the people involved and the Earth.
We'll say no more, and leave it to the video to take it from here . . . We hope you enjoy it, and of course if you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
As well as sheep – our natural lawn mowers, there are roaming red kites and all the British meadow’s usual suspects. Mr and Mrs Fox, Badger and rabbits all live there, no Boggis, Bunce and Bean thankfully, but the owls’ call and skylark’s song can be heard. Deer have also been spotted on the meadow, but the trees remain safe in their protective tubes!
At Bath, more apple trees will be planted as part of our efforts to establish a new heritage orchard. The fruit blossom will attract more honey bees and, when in bloom, will liven up the Midford valley. As the meadow lies in the Cotswold AONB, all the trees will be heritage species. Families who have someone buried at either burial ground, and those who don’t, are invited to plant or dedicate a tree.
